It ended last Friday, March 8, Light + Building 2024, the world biennial home automation exhibition in Frankfurt, which is always an important opportunity to present new products in the industry.
This year Blumotix introduced several new devices with KNX technology. In particular, our KNX system for access control “Doory” has been very successful.
Doory is based on access control through touch, proximity-sensing, backlit numeric keypad. The system is patent pending and is the first and most complete KNX access control system dedicated to the hotel world. The numeric keypad is produced with typical room access functions (“do not disturb,” “redo room,” etc.) and can be customized with room number and hotel logo. The keyboard also provides the option of a freely programmable thirteenth key, which can also become a doorbell.
It is also the most suitable access control system for energy supervision of rooms, as it is managed entirely remotely and does not use any kind of key or card.
